ARE YOU READY FOR WINTER?

THE COLD IS COMING! NOW IS THE TIME TO CHANGE YOUR SKIN CARE ROUTINE TO WINTER MODE

The weather began to cool as we approached December. Many of us make a summer-winter distinction for our clothing, but it's time to switch our skin care routines to winter mode as well.

We wanted to talk about how you should change your skin care routine in the winter and what you should add to it:

1. For facial cleansing, use a sulfate-free gel or cream.

Sulfated and salicylic acid-based cleansers, no matter how well they cleanse the skin, can dry out the skin barrier. Instead of sulphate facial cleansing foams, especially in the winter, choose facial cleansing products that will not dry out your skin and will not leave you feeling tense after use.

Pure Project Facial Cleansing Gel, which we make for oily and combination skin, is sulfate-free, does not dry out the skin, and leaves a moist feeling on the skin after washing thanks to the hyaluronic acid in it. This winter, you can try our facial cleansing gel.

2. You can incorporate gentle exfoliation into your routine.

Peels can help you remove dead skin that accumulates on your skin during the winter months and provide your skin with the moisture and glow it requires. Take care that the peeling you use is gentle and does not harm your skin's barrier. Make sure not to use it more than twice a week.

Cucumber seed oil, rich in linoleic acid and Vitamin E, in our Pure Project Hand and Body Scrub, which is completely plant-based and gently prepared, strengthens and elongates the skin's protective barrier. Tea seed oil quickly moisturizes the skin.

3. You can reduce the length of your bath and the temperature of your bath water.

As appealing as taking a warm bath in the colder months may be, long, hot baths can further dry out our skin. Shorten your bath time and avoid taking very hot baths during the winter months. During the bath, use gentle shower gels and soaps that will not dry out your skin with sulfates and will not disrupt the skin's moisture and PH balance. Remember to moisturize your skin after bathing.

Pure Project sulfate-free shower gels gently cleanse and purify your skin while bathing rather than drying it out. After a bath, moisturize your skin with our daily lotion, and wear your clothes right away because the formula does not leave a greasy feeling.

4. You can incorporate our balm into your daily moisturizing regimen.

Water-based lotions are lightweight and easily absorbed, making them ideal for daily use. However, during the winter months, our skin, particularly certain areas, requires more intense moisture. Our oil-based balm can be applied to any area that is dry and in need of moisture (lips, hands, feet, elbows, heels).

Our multi-purpose balm is made entirely of organic oils and provides the moisture that dry areas require.

5. You can activate your lymphatic system and increase blood circulation by massaging yourself at home.

Running our lymphatic system during the winter months helps to boost our immunity and metabolism. It is effective against the common cold.

With our 100% oak wood massager, you can easily massage yourself at home, work your lymphatic system, and strengthen your immunity by directing your preferred body oil towards the heart.

You are now prepared for the winter. Love!
